At least it was a lovely 50 mile round trip - especially with fuel being a giveaway these days. ---------------------------------------------- 3rd XI v Shipley Providence (H) LOST by 37 runs SHIPPERS: 138 all out (39.1) (J. Jaffrey 57, W. Nimmo 4-28, C. Atkinson 4-60, T. Daly 2-42) Mods: 101 all out (34) (Collins 19, Daly 14, French 12, Horral 4-17, Qureshi 4-29) ------------------------------------------------ SUNDAY 6/7/08 Hare Cup semi-final v OULTON (A) POSTPONED. Rain & puggles galore. Nice little sequence of numbers in the date.

5/7/08 1st XI LOST 2nd XI CANCELLED 3rd XI HEADLINES: Knocks in the forties from Adams and Swain hoist Mods' 1st XI to a respectable total after a steady start but end up well beaten. Bill and Claire (we must sign a Ben!) each take a four - for but none of our batsmen top twenty. The difference in the teams was one man - Jaffrey - 57.
