MATCH REPORT. 1st XV.
This was the latest in the season-long series of must-win matches because as many as 5 teams may face the drop in the post-season re-shuffles!
The game's only try came courtesy of the mesmerising trickery of Dan Parratt's quick free kick tap and mazey dash to the line from 35 metres. The second half was a slog uphill into most of the sun and wind but
we conceded only the once. Budworth's conversion giving us the win.
Pretty? No. Gutsy? Yes. Well done.
